About RSS Feeds

RSS feeds allow you to see when a website has been updated. In order to stay informed, visitors to Croydon Radio can subscribe to our various feeds and be automatically notified of new shows - either from all of the schedule or just those shows from their favourite DJs.

In order to use RSS feeds, you need some additional software called a news reader. Some examples of news reader software are Newz Crawler, FeedDemon and NetNewsWire. There are also online news readers such as Bloglines and FeedZilla. Internet Explorer and Firefox have news readers built-in.

Whenever a news feed is updated (for example, when new shows are booked or a new message posted on the forum or blog), your news reader software lets you know about it. That way, you don't need to keep visiting the Croydon Radio website to see whats changed. The news comes to you instead.
