Family and friends are now very anxious about his health, well-being and safety, as he is in a more vulnerable headspace than usual. The police (Lambeth Missing People Unit) say they are "growing increasingly concerned.”

Across the past week the Crystal Palace community have lead a high profile awareness campaign, including four organised searches across the weekend, covering parks in and around Crystal Palace, as well as City transport hubs. Local stations have also fliered by many of Robbie's wide network of friends.

With a suspected last known presence at East Croydon on the afternoon of Monday 13 June, friends have been doing their best to disperse flyers and posters throughout South London with networks also contacted in Brighton, Cambridge, where Robbie went to University, and Northern Ireland, where he is from. Favourite holiday locations on the South coast have also been targeted, as police and his friends widen their search. 

Close family friend Joe Duggan, helping co-ordinate the campaign to find Robbie said, “This is very out of character of Robbie to go missing, and as time goes on everyone’s concern grows. Robert's wife and son are becoming increasingly worried.”

On Facebook the group Crystal Palace Transition Town (see link below) have acted as a focus for sharing news, and missing poster distribution. Twitter has been particularly effective in getting more people to keep an eye out for Robbie, with celebrity tweets from Boy George, Captain Sensible, Sara Cox, Zoe Ball, EastEnders's Jo Joyner, Jimmy Bullard, TOWIE"s Kirk Norcross, X Factor's Sam Bailey, Theo Paphitis, Jamie East, and Bake off winner Nadiya Hussain, with many using #FindRobbie.

Robbie was a leading light in the much-publicised Carnegie Library Occupation during April 2016, and has been a passionate and outspoken campaigner to save Upper Norwood Library since it came under threat of closure. 

In 2014 Robbie helped set-up the "Sensible Garden" in South Norwood, named after local punk star "Captain Sensible" who came along to open the garden. The Garden won a Croydon Champions Award in 2015. This is one of many local community activities he has been involved with.

Robbie is around 6ft tall, slim frame, with a distinctive Northern Irish accent. He wears black-rimmed Prada glasses and was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt and a green Barbour coat.
